Conor McGregor suffered big with the way UFC 249 turned out. His expected fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov has now dropped much more than it was before. However, that didn’t stop him from making fun of his former opponent on social media.

McGregor led Twitter take a look at Khabib’s fighting style. It brought several final moves from the present and past of the UFC. Conor then compared them to “Khabibs little mermaid leg thing. ”

However, McGregor deleted the tweet after a very short period of time.

All of the moves Conor mentioned had one thing in common besides being highly effective. They had the potential to attract attention. Not just from regular fans but from people who are laymen in the sport of mixed martial arts. Despite being very dominant, Khabib’s fight cannot do it.

Anderson Silva’s front kick kick against Vitor Belfort at UFC 126 in 2011 remains one of the most beautiful knockouts in UFC history. The way Silva planted his toes on Vitor’s chin shows why he was the most precise and accurate striker in the business. Vitor saw it coming but never expected it to land on his chin.

The arm was Ronda Rousey’s preferred weapon when she ruled the UFC women’s bantamweight division. The move was the effective catalyst to catapult her to stardom. His confidence in submission can be measured by the fact that his first eight wins came through the arm.

Dan Henderson, commonly known as Hendo, took one of the most powerful punches in Strikeforce and the UFC. At one point, the H-Bomb became a legend. How he dropped future middleweight champion Michael Bisping is a testament to the H-bomb legend.

What are the implications of Khabib not fighting at UFC 249 for Conor McGregor

Khabib Nurmagomedov was expected to put his lightweight title on the line against Tony Ferguson. However, the Dagestan giant is stranded in Russia due to the coronavirus outbreak. Consequently, Justin Gaethje will now fight Ferguson for the interim title.

Conor McGregor was promised a fight against Khabib if he had won at UFC 249. However, with the provisional title now in the picture, Conor is no longer the No. 1 contender at 155 pounds. The winner of Gaethje vs Ferguson will have their hands on Khabib first.

That leaves “Mystic-Mac” with two options. Or build a winning streak in Lightweight. Or, you can take your talent to £ 170 and wait for a quick title shot.
