Congressional Senior Leader Ahmed Patel in ICU Weeks After Contracting COVID-19

Higher Congress leader Ahmed Patel has now been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Medanta Hospital, weeks after contracting the coronavirus.

On October 1, he took to Twitter to report that he had tested positive for COVID-19

“On behalf of your family, we would like to share that Shri Ahmed Patel had tested positive for Covid19 a few weeks ago. He has now been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon, for further treatment, “Ahmed Patel’s son Faisal said in a tweet.

He also added that his condition is stable and he continues under medical observation.

“We ask that you pray for his speedy recovery.”

Several congressional leaders wished Patel a speedy recovery.

Congressional Leader Anand Sharma said: “I am deeply concerned and praying for the good health of my friend and comrade Ahmed Patel. Please join us in praying for his speedy recovery.”
