Congressional leader Adhir Chowdhury attacks Kapil Sibal for introspective comment

Attacking veteran congressional leader Kapil Sibal for his introspective comment, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, congressional leader in Lok Sabha, said that the former union minister was free to join or form a new party rather than make such embarrassing remarks against The congress.

“He (Sibal) is a high-ranking leader of Congress and has accessibility and proximity to the main leaders of the party. You can raise issues with them instead of making such embarrassing comments in public. You are free to form a new party or join one if you feel that Congress is not the right place, ”Chowdhury said.

Sibal, in a recent interview, had emphasized the need for introspection in the party. The party is in decline, the former union minister said, in the wake of the massive beating of Congress in the recent Bihar assembly elections.

“Also before, Sibal has spoken of this. He seems to be very concerned about Congress and its need for introspection. But he was not seen campaigning for the party in recent elections in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh or Gujarat, ”Chowdhury said.

He added that mere conversation will accomplish nothing. Talking without doing anything does not mean introspection.

“If he had gone to Bihar and Madhya Pradesh, he could have shown that what he says is correct and that he strengthened the position of Congress. Talking without doing anything does not mean introspection, “added Chowdhury.

Chowdhury is not the only leader who has attacked Sibal. Earlier, Rajasthan Prime Minister Ashok Gehlot also lashed out at Sibal, saying that the former union minister should not have spoken of the party’s internal problems in the media. He added that this has hurt the feelings of party workers across the country.
