Jaipur:
Congressional leader Sachin Pilot on Tuesday expressed confidence that the Grand Alliance, which involves his party and the RJD, will form the government in Bihar after the next assembly elections.
The former chief deputy minister of Rajasthan said he will go to Bihar to campaign.
Sachin Pilot said that the claim of “good governance” by Bihar’s chief minister and JD (U) president Nitish Kumar has already been exposed. “He did not care about the workers and students who were stranded outside Bihar during the COVID-19 lockdown.”
“The electoral campaign of Congress and RJD is going well and there will be a change in Bihar with the Congress-RJD alliance forming the government,” he told reporters.
Addressing the BJP-led government in the Center on the issue of farm laws, Pilot said there is no minister in the central Cabinet who can speak out for the cause of farmers.
“Farmers are in danger and under attack from all sides, be it inflation or the coronavirus pandemic. But there is not a single minister at the center for them. In the central cabinet, there is not a single minister who has the courage to present the farmers’ side, be it the agriculture minister or any other minister, “Pilot said.
Narendra Modi’s government formulates schemes only for the benefit of industrialists and farmers do not trust the dispensation, he alleged.
On the six civic body elections in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota that will be held on October 29 and November 1, Sachin Pilot said that Congress will form boards in all municipal corporations.
The names of the candidates for the elections were finalized after due consultation and discussion, he said, adding: “Those who were given tickets are party workers. Tickets were given based on feedback, chances of winning, etc. he also sent observers. “
On the issue of the AICC committee, which was formed to analyze the issues raised by him and other MLA members in August after their rebellion, Mr. Pilot said the committee will soon reach a conclusion.
“Whatever discussion they have to do, they are doing it. Everything is in their knowledge. Very soon, the committee will come to a conclusion and we should all expect that,” he said.
