In a series of tweets, Chidambaram also said that his party “strongly advocates” the restoration of the status and rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Chidambaram’s comments came a day after the main political parties of Jammu and Kashmir met and formed the People’s Alliance for the Gupkar Declaration to restore the special status of the old state and to initiate a dialogue among all stakeholders. in the subject.
