Christopher Nolan’s Tenet is set to launch in India on December 4th. In a video message posted Thursday, Nolan expressed his joy that fans in India finally saw Tenet in theaters. He also spoke about shooting the film in India and working with veteran Bollywood actor Dimple Kapadia.
In the video message, Nolan greeted film fans in India, saying: “I am delighted that you have the opportunity to experience Tenet on the big screen. We shot the movie on large-format IMAX film in some of the most spectacular locations in the world, including Mumbai, where we were able to shoot what I consider to be some of the most exciting scenes in the film, some of which were with the great Dimple Kapadia. “
He added: “We had an incredible time filming in India. It means a lot to me that everyone can finally see Tenet on the big screen. I hope you enjoy.”
Tenet is the first major Hollywood movie to hit theaters amid the pandemic.

Dimple Kapadia previously spoke about Tenet, telling PTI: “My only wish for the film is that people really enjoy it in theaters. I know these are tough times, but this movie is made for the big screen. It is absolutely fantastic and incredible. You have to see it to believe it. At the same time, people must take complete care. “

Tenet stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh, among others.
