New Delhi: When the head of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) delivered his usual speech on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami on Sunday, the leader of Congress, Rahul Gandhi, said that the supreme Sangh knew the truth that China had seized Indian lands, but had afraid to face it. In his speech, Bhagwat had stressed that India needed to be better prepared militarily against China,

“Deep down, Mr. Bhagwat knows the truth. He is afraid to face it. The truth is that China has taken over our land and the government of India and the RSS have allowed it,” the congressional leader tweeted, along with a news clipping on Vijaya Dashami’s speech from Rashtriya chief Swayamsevak Sangh.

Rahul Gandhi, former president of Congress, has been attacking the government over the China issue and calling for the restoration of the status quo ante in LAC by March 2020.

During his speech, RSS Sarsanghchalak Bhagwat had called China an “expansionist” country. He urged the government to forge an alliance against China with its immediate neighbors like Nepal, Sri Lanka and others.

“The defense forces, the government and the people of India remained unfazed and responded vigorously to China’s boisterous efforts to invade our territories,” he said.

“We intend to be friendly to everyone, this is our nature. But mistaking our benevolence for weakness and attempts to disintegrate or weaken us by sheer brute force is unacceptable. Our reckless detractors should know this by now,” Bhagwat said.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi also attacked RSS and BJP, “We are not children to be ‘wrong’. BJP didn’t beat around the bush about what CAA + NRC were meant to do. If it’s not about Muslims, just remove all references to Religion out of law? Know this: we will protest over and over again until there are laws that require us to prove our Indian identity. We will protest against any law that has religion as the basis of citizenship. I also want to tell you to Congress, RJD and their clones: their silence during the turmoil is not forgotten. While the BJP leaders called the people of Seemanchal ‘ghuspethiye’, RJD-INC did not open its mouth once. “
