LIVE Updates from Cyclone Nivar: As Cyclonic Storm Nivar approaches India and brings heavy rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, authorities have taken action. Before, it moved at a speed of 5 km per hour.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Tamil Nadu and Puducherry’s top ministers on the situation on Tuesday.
