CBSE 2021 exam dates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold board exams for classes 10 and 12 from May 4 to June 10, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced Thursday. Results are expected around July 15. “I had previously announced that there would be no exams until February due to the unpredictable situation … In the current circumstances, after deliberation, we have come to the decision that the board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be held on 4 May to June 10, ”Pokhriyal announced through a live video on his Twitter account.
“We want the copies to be evaluated on time and also for the results to be declared on time. Results must be declared before July 15. The practical exams will begin on March 1, ”he said. In an earlier interaction with teachers, Pokhriyal had said that the exams will not be held in January-February. It had also ruled out the possibility of taking the exams online, citing the digital divide. The CBSE also issued a notice about the exams on the same Thursday.

“Since the situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic faced by students / teachers and schools is unprecedented, CBSE in order to ensure a conducive environment for students for exams and based on feedback and consultation with various stakeholders, has decided the following and accordingly notified that the board exam for classes 10 and 12 will start from May 4, 2021 (Tuesday), ”said the notice signed by Exams Comptroller Sanyam Bhardwaj.

“Schools will be able to take practical / project / internal evaluations of class 12 from March 1, 2021 (Monday) until the last date of the theoretical exam of the same class,” he said. The same also applies to the practical exams in class 10.
CBSE in its notification said that the date sheet for “both class 10 and 12 will be issued soon.” “CBSE will also inform all interested parties about exam-related information from time to time. The information will be available on the CBSE website. Information available on any other platform, including social networks, should not be treated as correct, if it is not available on the Board’s website, ”he said.
