Putting an end to all speculation, the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Thursday (December 31) that the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board 2021 exams will be held in May-June. Pokhriyal announced that the exams will take place between May 4 and June 10 and the results will be announced in July. However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet issued the date sheet or calendar for the Class 10, 12 Board exams.
Pokhriyal had said that the date sheet for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 would be released soon and the CBSE is expected to release the date sheet in the coming days.
By early December 10, Pokhriyal had interacted with students and made it clear that CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 may be delayed, but will not be canceled. He also said that the JEE Main 2021 and NEET 2021 exams will not be canceled in 2021, although they may be delayed.
Pokhriyal, however, has not yet announced any dates for the JEE Main 2021 and NET 2021 exams, but during his interactions with the students, the Union Minister suggested to the students that they prepare for the competitive exams.
“NEET 2021 will not be canceled because it will be a great loss to students and the nation. We postponed NEET three times in 2020 and gave students the opportunity to change their test centers … we could have canceled the exam, but there would have been It was a great loss for the students and the country, ”the minister had said.

It should be noted that the CBSE has cut the curriculum for the Class 10, 12 Board exams by 30%, but the curriculum for the JEE Main and NEET exams remains the same and several students have asked the minister take steps to reduce the curriculum for these competitive exams.
