Lakhs of students across India eagerly awaiting CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exam dates will wait for Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to make the big announcement on Thursday (Dec 31) at 6 am
“We will publish the dates of the CBSE Board exams – 2021 and how they will be conducted on Thursday,” Pokhriyal tweeted on Wednesday.

Pokhriyal spoke to Zee News on Wednesday and said that the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board 2021 exams will not be conducted online and will be conducted in offline mode.
“The exams will be conducted as before. The physical presence of the students will be required during the board exams,” Pokhriyal told Zee News.
The Union Education Minister also said that the CBSE 2021 Board exams will not take place before February. In particular, the CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams were held in the months of January, February and March in the past.
According to Pokhriyal, the dates for the CBSE Board exams have been decided taking into account the current COVID-19 situation and the exams may be postponed if the situation worsens.
“We have decided the dates taking into account the current circumstances. But if the situation is felt to be deteriorating, then we will make a decision in favor of the students,” Nishank said.
“The safety of the children is the most important thing to us. We will have a meeting again if necessary,” he added.
The Union Minister noted that the Ministry of Education reached out to 33 million students online and also conducted NEET exams amid COVID-19.
“The Electoral Commission also took advantage of this experience in the 2020 Bihar legislative elections,” Pokhriyal said.
Referring to the issue of several students facing vision related problems due to online cases and said that students will soon get used to it. The minister added that the online classes started because students got angry at being inactive at home.

“To overcome the problems caused by this, we have created a platform. We have also prepared a plan to start classes from the next session. But this will all depend on the situation at the time,” Pokhriyal said.
CBSE is expected to publish the CBSE 2021 admission card for the upcoming CBSE 2021 Board exams after the board publishes the CBSE 2021 date sheet for the 10th and 12th. The admission card is an important document required to obtain the entrance in the center of the Central Board of Secondary Examination.
