CBSE in its latest circular said: “CBSE is very aware of the condition of students and parents at the time of the pandemic and therefore any decision that the CBSE would make will only be made after consulting with all stakeholders. and will be communicated at the appropriate time through the Board’s website. “

Pokhriyal told the students: “We are with you” and all decisions will be made with the interests of the students in mind.

A few months ago, CBSE had reduced the curriculum for Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 as classes were not held in this academic session due to the lockdown imposed to slow the spread of the coronavirus in India.

Around 30 lakh of students sit for the CBSE board exams each year. In 2019, 31.14 lakh of students had registered for the CBSE board exams.
