Pokhriyal said he would go live on Twitter and Facebook to answer queries from students, teachers and parents.

Before the live interaction, the minister has invited concerns, suggestions and opinions of the interest groups for it. Those who want to express their concern can do so by tweeting using the hashtag #EducationMinisterGoesLive.

“Dear all, 2020 has been a year of many changes, such as adapting to #education online, adapting to #newnormal. I am pleased to share that I will be live on December 10 to talk with you about the upcoming competitive exams / board. Meanwhile, the CBSE has made a crucial announcement for students in classes 10 and 12 who will be taking the CBSE exam in 2021.

Schools across the country were closed in March to contain the spread of COVID-19 and partially reopened in some states as of October 15. However, some states decided to keep them closed in light of an increase in infections.

“No final decision has been made regarding the dates for conducting the board reviews, and stakeholder consultations are still ongoing. The reviews, as they are conducted, will be in writing and not online. The exams will be conducted following all COVID protocols, “said a senior CBSE official.

It should be noted that CBSE publishes the date sheet for the Class 10, 12 board examinations in December and conducts the examinations in February and March, but it is expected that CBSE will not be able to meet the date this time due to the coronavirus pandemic. . In 2019, CBSE published the data sheet in November.
