The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has begun the assessment process for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams that were held in February. The Minister for Human Resources Development (HRD) had announced that response scripts will be made available to teachers at their doorsteps. The process of transporting the response scripts began on Tuesday.

In each region, the centers act as focal points. Further away, The Ministry of Human Resources Development has assigned 3,000 centers from where the answer sheets will be distributed for evaluation and then collected at. According to the Ministry of Human Resources, the Ministry of the Interior has allowed the transport of the response scripts in the midst of the national closure.

Class 10 exams will be held only for students who had to fail their exams due to riots in northeast Delhi earlier this year. Those who took the class 10 exams will not have to retake the exam, nor will the CBSE conduct any pending exams for them. The board is devising a mechanism to promote students for these exams. Students from class 1 to 8 have already been promoted to the next class based on an internal evaluation.
