Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, who will interact with teachers across the country on Tuesday, is expected to make the important announcement regarding the dates of the exams.
As part of the central government’s initiative to conduct examinations on time amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the minister has planned a trialogue with students, parents and teachers from across the country. The Minister will interact with stakeholders through webinars for three days.
CBSE officials have clarified that there is no proposal to take the board exams online.
Authorities have been holding discussions this year with students, parents and teachers about the board examinations, even as schools and universities across the country are in the process of resuming normal classroom teachings for various classes in December 2020. and January 2021.
From board exam sign-ups to classroom operations, all work was done in virtual mode until now.
Earlier, the minister said: “Online education has become a huge challenge for students who have not attended schools and universities for the past nine months due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But students must always be ready. to turn this challenge into an opportunity. ”
“The biggest challenge is studying with greater determination and willingness and declaring the board’s results on time so that a full academic year of students is not wasted.”
After holding virtual dialogues in the coming days, the minister will review the different exams that will be carried out in various states and Territories of the Union. A detailed plan will be drawn up to carry out these examinations in accordance with the health protocol orders issued by the Ministries of Health and the Interior.
