Mumbai: A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) once again visited the flat of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Monday, while another team continued to question Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi.
Rhea and Showik arrived at the DRDO guesthouse where the CBI team is staying for the fourth day in a row, while Shruti Modi arrived an hour and a half later.
Sushant’s roommate Siddharth Pithani also came to the DRDO guesthouse for questioning.
Agency sources said Rhea is being questioned about her breakup with Sushant, when she learned of the actor’s death and how she managed to get into the Cooper Hospital morgue.
Rhea is also being questioned about the WhatsApp chats in which she spoke about drugs and relationships with filmmaker Sandeep Ssingh and Shruti Modi.
She has been questioned by the CBI for more than 25 hours in the last three days. On Friday she was interrogated for more than 10 hours, seven hours on Saturday and eight hours on Sunday.
Following the order of the Supreme Court, the IWC arrived in Mumbai after registering a case by order of the Center on August 6 following the complaint by Sushant’s father, KK Singh, at a Patna police station on July 25.
To date, the CBI has questioned Sushant’s roommate Siddharth Pithani, personal personnel Neeraj Singh, Dipesh Sawant and others.
The CBI team has already visited Cooper Hospital twice and the Waterstone resort where Sushant had stayed for some time, as well as Sushant’s Bandra flat, where he was found dead on June 14.
