The prime minister had also inaugurated three projects in the oil sector worth Rs 900 million. Projects include the Durgapur-Banka section of the Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur Pipeline Augmentation Project and two LPG Bottling Plants.

The Union Cabinet has authorized AIIMS for Bihar, which will emerge in Darbhanga. The move comes before the state assembly elections.
The institute will be established under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The Cabinet also approved the creation of a Director post with the basic salary of Rs 2.25,000 / – (fixed) plus the corresponding NPA. The total cost will be Rs 1,264 crore and is likely to be completed within 48 months from the date of government approval.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Bihar for being the “talent powerhouse of the country”. He said that the influence of Bihar’s youth and talent is everywhere. “If you go to any IIT, Bihar shines there too. If you go to any other state, the force of Bihar, the impression of work here will be seen in the development of each state,” said the prime minister.
Prime Minister Modi also praised Prime Minister Nitish Kumar for changing the situation in the state. “A decade and a half ago, the people of Bihar could not have imagined that a job started by the government could end. But this has been changed by the government of Nitish Kumar,” he said on Tuesday.
The prime minister had launched three oil sector projects worth Rs 900 million. Projects include the Durgapur-Banka section of the Paradip-Haldia-Durgapur Pipeline Augmentation Project and two LPG Bottling Plants. They have been commissioned by IndianOil and HPCL, PSUs under the aegis of the Ministry of Oil and Natural Gas.
“Center has worked extensively on the development of all energy-related projects in Bihar. New India and New Bihar believe in accelerated development,” said PM Modi, adding that Bihar’s contribution to India in all sectors it is clearly visible.
