A video of a boy in Ladakh greeting a team of Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel is being widely shared online.
The video, tweeted by the border patrol organization, shows Namgyal looking at staff and greeting them as they approach him. One of the staff members can be heard giving instructional orders to the child. “Aise karo (Do it like this), “he says.
The video was filmed on October 8 in Chushul of Ladakh.
“Greetings! Namgyal, a local boy in Chushul, Ladakh waving to passing ITBP troops. The enthusiastic boy saluting with high josh was randomly called by an ITBP officer on the morning of October 8th”, tweeted the ITBP, along with the video.

The boy, dressed in a sweatshirt and pants, greets the staff.
Namgyal responds to the orders of “Savdhaan (attention) “and”Vishram (satisfaced)”.
The video has received more than 17,000 views on Twitter, with more than 800 retweets and more than 3,000 ‘likes’.
Rajya Sabha member Rajeev Chandrasekhar expressed interest in starting a scholarship corpus for Namgyal and sought the details of his parents to send money to them.
“I am planning to help start a scholarship corpus for young warrior Namgyal by sending some money to his parents. Maybe @ITBP_official @lg_ladakh @JTNBJP can help with the parents details?” tweeted.
