Woman goes to New Years party after celebrating her father’s birthday
The deceased teenager, identified as Janvi Kukreja, was a psychology student at Jai Hind College. Until 12:15 am on January 1, he was with his family, celebrating his father’s birthday. Later, her neighbor took her to a New Years party. The party was on the roof of a residential building in the Khar area. Around 5 in the morning, his family was informed of his death.
The police said prima facie, it appears that the murder took place between the second floor and the ground floor of the building. The people residing on the second floor are the host’s grandparents. The police suspect that, as they are old, they must not have heard screams.
Boyfriend involved in the murder of a woman?
Police investigations have revealed that Janvi did not like the way he flirted with other girls at the party. When he saw him and a girl approaching, a fight broke out. The girl was Janvi’s neighbor and she was the one who took her to the party. The building’s CCTV camera has captured the groom leaving the building with his torn shirt, clearly indicating that force was applied. Further investigations into the case are underway.
