HyderabadThe drug investigation linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) has taken an unexpected turn with Rhea Chakraborty allegedly naming stars Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and designer Simone Khambatta for having participated in drugs with SSR.
As with Friday night, multiple reports claim that Rhea has revealed the names of 25 Bollywood celebrities in the drug case. The list apparently includes names of top-notch actors, directors, casting directors, producers, and designers, among others. Reports also suggest that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will soon issue subpoenas to all 25 celebrities, including the aforementioned celebrities.
Even as the central probe body is now focused on interrogating various A, B and C grade celebrities, its investigating body has been raiding various locations in Mumbai and Goa based on information provided by drug dealer Anuj Keshwani.
NCB had arrested Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). She is in judicial custody until September 22 after the Court of Sessions rejected her declaration of bail.

While Rhea’s confessions about Rakul have caused a stir in Tollywood circles, Rakul seems quite unconcerned at the appearance of his name during the investigation.
Sources from the current Telugu film sets of the Sarrainodu star tell us that she had argued with the creators after her name appeared in the media regarding the drug investigation. Apparently, it is believed that Rakul even said that she had done nothing wrong and had nothing to do with said problem.
“Rakul shot late into the night on Friday and showed no signs of stress and seemed indifferent because he said he had done nothing wrong. She had finished filming for the day and was seen in a jovial mood, “said someone on the sets, requesting anonymity.
Trash rumors
The Tollywood actress apparently has more support on her way. Screenwriter and producer Kona Venkat, who has worked with Rakul on films such as Pandaga Chesko, Bruce Lee and Loukyam, has denied all the rumors that have arisen about the actress.
Describing Rakul as synonymous with hard work and discipline, he claims that he has known the actress for several years, stating that he even witnesses the efforts she has made to get where she is today.
“Some people are trying to murder your character and your career because they envy your success. She was a Telangana brand ambassador for the ‘No to Drugs’ campaign, and her fitness videos on her social media are an example of what a fitness enthusiast she is. Let the investigative agencies do their job and the truth will prevail, ”says Kona Venkat.
