Actor Bobby Deol has turned 25 in the Hindi film industry. The actor, who debuted with Barsaat in 1995, is celebrating completing a quarter-century of his career. In reaction to his post, his first co-star, Twinkle Khanna, also got excited.
“I just saw the interview and then this tweet. Friend, my eyes are watery. Nostalgia .. Today our boys are as old as we were when we worked together. I love you so much, ”he wrote. Twinkle and Bobby played two young fighters in Barsaat who get lost in the woods and fall in love. The two are now the parents of two children each. While Bobby has children Aryamaan and Dharam with his wife Tanya; Twinkle has a son Aarav and a daughter Nitara with actor Akshay Kumar.
Upon his 25th birthday, Bobby took to social media to share a special piece of art made from his movie posters. “It has been 25 years in the cinema for me … A journey that began in October 1995 … an overwhelming and emotional one. I say proudly, I’ve seen the ups and downs. The only thing these 25 years have taught me is never to give up; always recover and keep moving forward, “he wrote.
He added: “I look forward to another 25 years with my colleagues in film with the promise to be worthy of all their love and support and to entertain them until my final credits are not released.”
Talking to Bollywood Hungama About his trip, Bobby said that he was supposed to star in Ajnabee. The movie eventually went on to star Akshay Kumar in the role originally intended for Bobby, who ended up playing a different character. “The people I offered the project to, they finally took the project from me and did it themselves,” he told Bollywood Hungama, adding: “That’s how it is, this industry is ruthless.”

Bobby made his digital debut this year with the Netflix movie Class of ’83 and followed it up with the MX Original Series Aashram. The actor played the role of veteran police officer, Vijay Singh, in Atul Sabharwal’s directorial promotion from ’83, while Aashram, directed by Prakash Jha, saw him as the self-proclaimed man god Baba Nirala.
