Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2021 is eagerly awaited. While there is no official announcement regarding the dates of the CBSE Board Exam 2021, Times Now conducted a digital survey to find out the general opinion and preferences of students, parents and teachers on when the CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2021 should be taken. . The result? Almost 56% of those surveyed opted for the exams in April or May. 27% voted for the cancellation of the board exams in 2021.

Up to 2,95,115 votes were received. Of the total, 55.7% or 1,64,220 respondents chose a three-month period for physical classes before deciding on the dates of the exams. As long as schools (for classes 9-12) reopened as of January 1 across the country, the exam date from April to May 2021 was the most preferred.

Interestingly, not many people chose to wait until the COVID19 vaccine, showing an acceptance for the current normalcy or perhaps a disdain for the possible timing of the vaccine. Only about 5.7% of those surveyed opted for the exams based on the calendar in February and March 2021.

The poll resonated with expert opinion and the suggestion that the board’s examinations should be postponed until May. Many teachers have raised concerns about preparing students in the absence of physical classes, insisting that at least three months are required before board exams are conducted to ensure students are ready to sit for the exam.
