Rajasthan government has allowed the opening of offices located in commercial centers and educational institutes for non-academic activities in the midst of the relaxation of the restrictions of blockade, which were in force since the end of March to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak.
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the virus outbreak is under control in the state, which has led to the opening up of economic activities in line with the latest guidelines issued by the Union Ministry of home Affairs (MHA) last Sunday.

Additional chief secretary (home) Rajiv Swaroop, said that the offices of all the educational institutions have been permitted to open for non-academic work. Despite the fact that shopping malls have not been allowed to open offices in them have been allowed to resume their operations, he added.

Rajasthan director general of police (DGP) Bhupendra Singh, has warned that those found violating the social distancing rules would be registered under the Rajasthan Epidemic of Ordinance.
He said challans have been issued to 8,134 not to use face masks in public places; 1,201 challans to those who sell goods to people who were not wearing masks for the face; 73 for spitting in public places; 64 for the sale of tobacco products; and 2.525 for violating the social distancing of the rules.
