The BJP will not rest until it conquers Hyderabad and then Telangana, BJP President JP Nadda stressed on Friday, adding a Bharatiya Janata Party victory in the December 1 elections to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation will be the beginning of the end for Telangana Rashtra. Samithi in Telangana.
Nadda, who staged a road show from Kothapet to Nagole on the outskirts of Hyderabad that featured thousands of party workers in defiance of a heavy drizzle, exuded confidence that the saffron flag would fly across all GHMC divisions after the elections.
“After seeing the tremendous response from the people, I have no doubt that they have already decided to end the rule of TRS Chairman K Chandrasekhar Rao. The GHMC elections would mark the beginning of the end of TRS in Telangana, ”said the BJP chief.
Accusing the TRS government of pushing Telangana into a large loan debt trap, Nadda said it was wrong for KCR to make more promises to the people without even keeping the promises made in the last GHMC election.
He said that the BJP was the only party that had the vision to develop Hyderabad in a much better way. “Time is up for the TRS in Telangana and the BJP will reach Hyderabad,” said the BJP chief.
Reacting to criticism from the acting chairman of TRS and the minister of state for municipal administration, KT Rama Rao, that the BJP was targeting Delhi leaders for “ravine elections”, Nadda said the BJP would definitely go where there would be injustice against the people.
“We will go anywhere to end the corrupt and monarchical rule of some leaders and bring the BJP to power. We will not rest until our party conquers Hyderabad and then Telangana, ”said the BJP national president.
Along with Nadda, BJP State President Bandi Sanjay, Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy and other seniors participated in the road show.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Yogi Adityanath will campaign for the BJP on Saturday. He would lead a tour in Jeedimetla, which is part of the Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency, in addition to heading to a public meeting at Shalibanda in Hyderabad’s old city at night.
On Sunday, the final day of the campaign, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah will address a rally in Secunderabad, party spokesman K Krishnasagar Rao said.
