A statement from GovernEye said a total of 33,82,560 valid nominations for 512 Lok Sabha MPs were received between October 1, 2020 and October 15, 2020.

Despite all the negative publicity our elected representatives receive, we do not hear the stories of how some MPs and their teams risked their personal safety to serve their constituencies, ”Manjunath Keri, senior project leader of the survey team, said in a release.
