NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto for Bihar’s triphasic elections on Thursday promising to distribute the coronavirus vaccine free of charge once approved by the ICMR, and also secured 19 lakh of jobs for the state’s youth.
Union Finance Minister and BJP Leader Nirmala Sitharaman, publishing the party’s manifesto, said that as soon as the Covid-19 vaccine is available for mass production, all people in Bihar will receive a free vaccine. .
“This is the first promise that is mentioned in our electoral manifesto,” he said.
BJP also promised to create up to 19 lakhs of jobs for Bihar, a state that has historically battled unemployment.
Sitharaman said that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Bihar has seen a sharp rise under the rule of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), adding that it has grown from 3 percent to 11.3 percent in the state in recent years. 15 years of the NDA. government.

The electoral document was presented by Sitharaman and the main leaders Bhupender Yadav, Nityanand Rai, Ashwini Choubey and Pramod Kumar. The Union Minister and Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad and other BJP leaders were also present at the event.

Bihar’s main political parties are busy courting voters and publishing a manifesto for the Assembly elections to be held in Bihar in three phases with the count taking place on November 10.
