BJP National Chairman JP Nadda said on Sunday that the development of Bihar was only possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and that the next state government would be formed under the leadership of JD (U) head Nitish Kumar. .

At the first BJP rally for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, NDA leaders reminded voters of the “darkness” of “Lalu Raj” and the work Nitish Kumar had done. With the shadow of their ally LJP over the process, leaders on stage repeatedly asked voters to “forget the differences” and “not enter into useless debates.”

Addressing an election rally at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Gaya, Nadda’s speech largely focused on the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Nadda said that Sunday was a special day because it was the birth anniversary of Jayaprakash Narayan and Nanaji Deshmukh. In attacking the RJD, he said that those who grew up under Narayan had joined Congress, a party the socialist leader fought against.

Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given Indian farmers and people independence in terms of income. In 6.32 lakh villages, anyone who owns land or a house will have a digital card made of that land and become evidence of their ownership. Now, you won’t have to do rounds of patwari. All work will be done by drones and satellites after verification. A swamitva card will be made. Have you ever thought that in two or three years your pocket will have a digital card? “Nadda said.

Nadda also recounted the schemes of the Union government such as Ujjwala, Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi and Ayushman Bharat, and recalled that it was Narendra Modi who gave Bihar a package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore in 2015.

“In elections, the Congress party used to make its policy on the basis of caste or religion. But Modiji has changed the face of elections and politics. In 2015 PM Modi had given a package of Rs 1.25 crore lakh… In the last five years, Rs 3,000 crore have been used for farmers, Rs 10,000 crore for education and Rs 1550 crore for skills development. In 70 years, only four medical schools had been opened and only one, in Patna, was run by the government. Later they took over three. Under Modiji’s government from 2014 to 2020, 14 medical schools have emerged and eleven are in the works, ”said Nadda.

Nadda also highlighted the advertisement of 5 kg of food grain and 1 kg of dal by PM Modi till Chhath puja. “The leadership of India is secured in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and it is important that the leadership of Bihar is secured with Nitish Kumar. Lots of people have talked about Lalu Raj, so I won’t say much. But I’ll say ‘ujale ki izzat tab tak rehti hai, jab tak and here ka ehsaas ho,’ ”he said.

“We have seen the days when it was difficult to stand in the middle of the Dak bungalow crossing at night. We have seen the days when a doctor went home to his clinic, it was not safe whether he would eat with his children again or not, “he said.

Despite LJP’s stance that it was the “true ally of the BJP” and would only run candidates against JD (U), BJP leaders went to great lengths to explain that those “with Prime Minister Modi” were with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

BJP State President Sanjay Jaiswal named the symbols of JDU, BJP, HAM and VIP as those with PM Modi. “Only these four symbols are with Prime Minister Modi. Whoever is not with Nitish Kumar cannot be with Modiji. Don’t fall for any debate and make the NDA alliance victorious, ”he said.

HAM Chairman Jitan Ram Manjhi, who resigned from the mahagatbandhan last month and joined the NDA, said Nitish Kumar was a “forward-thinking” prime minister.

“Nitish Kumar is a forward-thinking person and whatever he does, people have to follow him. He had made a decision in 2006 that helped farmers and it has now been adopted across the country. From all points of view, the country is safe in the hands of Narendra Modi and in the hands of Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi, ”Manjhi said.

Manjhi tried to compare the current situation under Nitish Kumar with that of the years before 2005. “Some people say that law and order are not good, the health (situation) is not good. But I mean that before 2005, people took their rifles out of the car because they were scared. That was the situation of law and order. Before, dogs roamed hospitals and four to five people came for treatment. Now thousands of people are coming … There may be some complaints, but there is no one better than Modi and Nitish Kumar, ”Manjhi said.
