Bihar Election News: Tejashwi Yadav’s Declaration Creates Caste Line Before Election |

PATNA: Two days before the first phase of the Bihar elections, a political uproar broke out on Monday after the CM candidate of Mahagatbandhan, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, said at an election rally that the poor used to fearlessly sit in front of the ‘ babu sahabs’ (Rajputs) when his father Lalu Prasad was the CM.
“Jab Lalu ji ka raaj tha tab Dalit seena taan ke baithte thhe,” Tejashwi said, adding that he will take them all together. “Those who work will be rewarded and those who will not be punished. I’ll take everyone with me, ”he said.
NDA was quick to pick up the issue as an “insult to the Rajput community.”

Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi posted a video from the hospital, saying that Tejashwi abused people belonging to the advanced castes. “RJD’s policy has been to abuse advanced castes. RJD had protested against the reservation of 10% for the upper castes and showed no respect for a leader like Raghuvansh Prasad Singh. He (Tejashwi) is trying to repeat his father’s policy. “However, RJD national spokesperson Manoj Jha later said:” Tejashwi had spoken about corrupt babus (officers) and officers with attitude, who want to keep ordinary people under their feet. In all its public gatherings, Tejashwi has spoken of eliminating corruption at all levels. ”
