Bihar Assembly Elections 2020: Mumbai Numbers Can Be Sent As Parcel To Bihar, Says Sanjay Raut

A day after the Election Commission of India announced the calendar for Bihar’s elections to be held in three phases on October 28, November 3 and 7, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said yes Bihar doesn’t have enough problems, Mumbai can dish out some. His mockery came in the context of allegations that the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who hailed from Bihar, is being used as an electoral issue in Bihar.

“The elections in Bihar should be fought on issues of development, law and order and good governance, but if these issues have been exhausted, then the Mumbai issues can be shipped as a package,” said the leader of Shiv Sena.

The Bihar and Maharashtra state police departments were enraged by the investigation into the death of Rajput, who was found dead on June 14 at his Mumbai residence. Former Bihar DGP, Gupteshwar Pandey, accused the Maharashtra police of not cooperating with them. It is also speculated that Pandey could join politics after taking a VRS.

The Shiv Sena can compete in the Bihar polls, Raut hinted. “Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will take a call on Shiv Sena to contest the Bihar elections in the next 2-3 days. Election in Bihar is conducted by castes and other things. Labor laws or farmers’ bills will not be a problem in the Bihar elections, ”Raut said on Friday.

The Shiv Sena leader has had a party in the case involving the demolition of the office of Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut.

The MP has recently criticized the interrogation of various Bollywood personalities by the Office of Narcotics Control in a drug case related to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput.
