The fourth season of ‘Bigg Boss Telugu’ has started today. The show premiered on Sunday night (September 6, 2020) with Nagarjuna presenting it in a charismatic manner.
The team has selected many contestants but finally, those who have tested negative for COVID19 enter the house of ‘Bigg Boss’. The selected contestants had been quarantined but 16 have advanced to the final. YouTube stars and social media stars gained prominence this time around, though Tollywood actors and directors such as Monal Gajjar, Noel, Amma Rajasekhar, and Surya Kiran are also involved.
The following are this season’s contestants …
1.Monal Gajjar (Actress)
Monal Gajjar has played the heroine in Telugu-language films such as Allari Naresh’s ‘Sudigadu’, ‘Vennela 1 ½’ and ‘Brother of Bommali’. The 29-year-old Gujarati has been selected for the glamor quotient.
2. Ariyana (TV presenter)
Known for her skills as a presenter, this young TV star hosts shows on Gemini Comedy and Etv Abhiruchi. Her interviews with Ram Gopal Varma have become something for meme-makers.
3. Amma Rajasekhar (Choreographer and director)
Amma Rajasekhar has been selected in the choreographer category although she also directed films such as ‘Ranam’.
4.Noel (singer, actor)
Noel is a popular singer and actor.
5. Dethadi Harika (YouTube host)
Alekhya Harika rose to fame with her YouTube show ‘Dethadi’ which is one of the most watched Telugu YouTube channels. It is also quite popular on Instagram.
6. Surya Kiran (Director)
A director known for movies like ‘Sathyam’.
7. Abhijeet (actor)
Abhijeet is popular for playing the lead role in Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Life Is Beautiful’.
8. Gangavva (YouTube star)
Milkuri Gangavva, 58, is a YouTube star. She is a household name today. Now you have come to Bigg Boss Telugu.
9. Mehboob (Youtuber, dancer)
Known for the song Dil Se, Mehaboob Shaikh is a popular social media star.
10. Devi Nagavalli (news anchor)
Devi is a news anchor on TV9
