Bigg Boss Oct 14 5 Day 2: The makers of Bigg Boss are under immense pressure to get up and running and it’s showing. Bigg Boss 14 started with a few twists so that the first few days don’t miss out on that all-important masala that ignites TRPs: the introduction of seniors into the home and the Bigg Boss concept of rejections. Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan are responsible for churning the cauldron and are doing their bit for the entertainment. Meanwhile, thanks to the ‘older toofani’, Rubina Dilaik, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Nishant Sigh Malkani and Sara Gurpal have been left outside in the cold and are trying to make their way inside Bigg Boss’s house. Here’s how it happened on the second day of the current Bigg Boss season.
Sara Gurpal’s haircut
Sara Gurpal was one of the first to overcome the first challenge. She happily agreed to cut her hair down to her shoulders and once she did, Hina Khan even waved her ponytail towards the camera.
Sidharth Shukla-Gauahar Khan fight
Now this is something that I was eager to happen as soon as Sidharth and Gauahar signed on the dotted line. Gauahar had criticized Sidharth when he was inside Bigg Boss’s house for the past few years and she also voiced her complaints in the premiere episode. The teaser would lead to a full-blown fight, we were sure of that. What we didn’t know was what would happen on the second day of the season.
A promo that provokes the fight shows Sidharth losing his cool over a particular task and blaming Gauahar for it. He says it is his mistake and also his responsibility.
Rubina Dilaik’s dress problem
Outsiders can become insiders, but only if they meet the conditions set by seniors. Older people tell the four ‘rejected candidates’ that they can enter the house if they do a certain task: Rubina is asked to wear the same clothes for a week, Jaan is asked to cut his mohawk hair and Nishant is challenged to wear a bikini all week. Rubina refuses to follow the dictation, saying that she is very picky about her hygiene. Husband Abhinav Kashyap also tries to weigh, but to no avail.
Mohawk by Jaan Kumar Sanu
Jaan Kumar Sanu, following the photos coming out of Bigg Boss’s house, relents and is now the proud recipient of a mohawk. He also gets angry with his “secret”.
Sidharth Shukla is Punjab ka ‘jijaji’
Sara Gurpal, conveys a sentimental message from all over Punjab and claims Sidharth Shukla is ‘Punjab ke jijaji’, hinting at his closeness to Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz.
Pavitra Punia-Gauahar Khan fight
It seems like it was a rough day for Gauahar. After Sidharth, he also gets into a war of words with Pavitra Punia. Pavitra is about to start her lunch when Gauahar asks her if she has checked on other seniors before eating. Annoyed Pavitra seeks an explanation from Gauahar as to why he interrupts her while she eats.
