MUMBAI: Popular television actress and dancer Sana Khan, also a former Bigg Boss contestant, announced on Thursday night (October 9) that she is leaving the entertainment industry.
In a long note posted on Instagram, he stated that he is saying goodbye to his showbiz lifestyle to serve humanity and pursue a religious path. The actress also removed some of her dance photos and videos from her Instagram page.
In particular, his statement about leaving the entertainment industry comes just over a year after ‘Dangal’ actress Zaira Wasim stopped acting for similar reasons.
In her note, Sana wrote: “I am at an important time in my life. For years, I have been living the life of the show business (film industry), and during this time I have been blessed with all kinds of fame, honor and wealth. .of my fans for which I am grateful. But, for the last few days, a thought has kept me busy. I have been wondering, is one born only to gain wealth and fame for oneself? Isn’t responsibility a moral one? Of humans to serve or support the helpless or needy? Shouldn’t people think about what will happen to them in the afterlife, since one can die at any moment?
“I declare today that as of today, I have resolved to say goodbye to my showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator. All brothers and sisters are asked to pray for me to Allah. so that I accept my repentance and the true ability to live up to my determination to spend my life following the commandments of my Creator and in the service of humanity, and grant me perseverance in ”.
In her final message, she asked her followers not to question her any more about the entertainment industry. “Finally, all brothers and sisters are requested not to consult me regarding any work in show business going forward,” he wrote. His post received over 1.17 lakhs of likes.
Apart from movies like Wajah Tum Ho, Jai Ho and many other regional movies, Sana has been part of reality TV shows like ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’, ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’, ‘Entertainment Ki Raat’ and ‘Kitchen Champion’ . .
She was also a former contestant on season 6 of Bigg Boss.
In early February of this year, Sana had a big dispute with her boyfriend Melvin Louis, where she accused him of cheating on her with other women.
