Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss salary might become a big talking point every year, but so is his posh ‘chalet’ on set. Salman currently hosts Bigg Boss 14. He got attached to the reality show in 2010.
Designed by Omung Kumar, Salman’s chalet is inspired by elements of nature. Using a slight exotic Mexican touch in the design, Omung has elevated the Salman space and incorporated various elements that the host can use.
This time around, the chalet also features a fully equipped gym that Salman can use to work out before his Weekend Ka Vaar episodes. The rooms are bathed in a warm outdoor glow. In the living room, the main wall is covered in letters that spell out Salman’s name and the various movies he has been a part of. A comfortable sofa sits majestically in the living room where Salman can entertain his guests and watch the proceedings unfold on the big screen television.
Previously, designer Ashley Rebello shared a video from inside the chalet. The video opened with a glimpse of a great portrait of Salman as Chulbul Pandey from his hit Dabangg franchise. The video also included glimpses of a patio and bedroom area, which was adorned with another large portrait of the actor.

This year, Salman said he took a pay cut to make sure the program doesn’t suffer from the coronavirus-induced economic recession. “I’m more than happy to cut it down so everyone else can get paid,” Salman said, speaking with Abhishek Rege, CEO of Endemol Shine India. Abhishek revealed that although the new normal requires fewer people on a set, they have not laid off any employees.
