The new season of Bigg Boss 14 started on Saturday and has immediately run into some controversy. Among the new contestants, Sara Gurpal, Jasmin Bhasin, Nikki Tamboli and Pavitra Punia have already set the temperature very high.
Sara found herself in a particularly difficult situation when a Punjabi singer, Tushar Kumar, claimed that Sara married him in 2014. He added that she was lying when she claimed at the Bigg Boss premiere that she was single. She also provided a marriage certificate and photographs to back up her claims.
Tushar said, “I got married on August 16, 2014 in Jalandhar, Punjab India.” Asked why she was disclosing such details now, she said she was asked to do so after Sara claimed she was single. He said: “I received messages on Instagram and Whatsapp from people all over the world, while Sara still claims that she is not the one who married me, stating that the girl who married me looks like Sara.”

In the images she shared, Sara poses happily with Tushar, wearing vermilion (sindoor) and the traditional red and white bangles that many married women wear. However, on the marriage certificate he shared, the person he is shown married to is named Rachna Devi.
He added that Sara was lying about her status and that she had married him for fame. He continued: “I just want to show that Sara is who I married and she is lying to the world saying that she is still single. I feel like she married me just to get fame and US citizenship. She left me because she didn’t get any publicity from me. “

It seems that not everyone is convinced by Sara’s image – her fellow Bigg Boss 14 contestant Shehzad Deol claimed she was just ‘playing innocent and childish’. He claimed to have met her, on a professional level, two years ago. Shehzad said that she is not as “cheerful and childish” as she was behaving in Bigg Boss.
Given her lighthearted disposition within the Bigg Boss 14 home, Sara was compared to the successful Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill. In reaction to the comparison, Sara had told the Times of India in an interview: “If it hadn’t been me, someone else would have come from Punjab. We are all different individuals. I am not taking it negatively. I am very proud of Shehnaaz Gill. She was entertaining and I have no problem with comparisons. And the people of Punjab are very nice anyway. I am prepared for everything, whether positive or negative. When people see me, I hope they love me.
