Bigg Boss 14: Shardul Pandit’s tease that Naina Singh ‘sat on his lap’ leaves Shefali Jariwala furious, calls it ‘horrible first impression’ – tv

Sunday’s episode of Bigg Boss 14 saw three wild card entries: Shardul Pandit, Naina Singh and Kavita Kaushik. But as soon as Shardul made an entrance, he made sure to become one of the nastier new entrants. A comment made by him has enraged Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shefali Jariwala.

On Twitter, Shefali wrote: “#ShardulPandit ‘Godi mein ake baithi’ … ***, vulgar, cheap, derogatory … You made a horrible first impression … # BiggBoss14 # BiggBoss2020”. At the time of the three introduction, he was asked if he knew the two women. To which, he said that he was a fan of Kavita and had worked with Naina before. He also added, “Woh meri godi mein bhi aake baithi thii (she sat on my lap).”

The comment was also featured in one of the show’s promotions. Shardul says his infamous words and adds, ‘hee main host kar raha tha uppar commentary box mein, aap ko upar bulaya tha ((I was the host sitting in the comment area and they called you there) ”, a surprised Naina checks it and it says, “Usse godi nahin kehte hain, usse kehte hain saath mein as Karna’s host (that’s not called sitting on anyone’s lap, it’s called organizing a program together).”

Obviously, Naina hadn’t liked the comment; his initial reaction had been one of surprise and anger. For the rest of the episode, they kept fighting each other even as Naina kept saying, “Aisa kaise ball?”

The episode also saw Nora Fatehi visiting the house to promote her new music video. An amusing moment followed when the men of the house were asked to replicate his famous hook step from his popular song, Garmi from the movie Street Dancer 3D.

After more than two weeks on Bigg Boss 14, two contestants, Sara Gurpal and Shehzad Deol, were evicted from the house. Three previous contestants, Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan, who had entered the house as “toofani elders”, withdrew after a two-week period. They were replaced by a second group of seniors: Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, and Paras Chhabra.
