While Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan will be seen in a special role, Salman Khan wanted to welcome them with a hug. But due to the pandemic, it was limited to one ‘namaste’ and one ‘salaam’. However, soon Salman asked them if they were properly disinfected and also tested negative for Covid, and stepped forward to hug all three.
Power in the hands of Hina-Sidharth-Gauahar to ‘select and reject’ contestants
With this power, rejected contestants will have to wait until they complete some tasks. Additionally, selected contestants have a two week “TBD” waiting period. We need to see what happens in the coming weeks and what role Hina, Sidharth and Gauahar have in the confirmation process.

The WFH is no longer Working from Home … For Salman Khan and his Bigg Boss audience it is ‘Watching from Home’. Isn’t it cool? Salman Khan introduced the term when audiences came together to watch the premiere from their homes virtually.
The controversies already begin
Celebrity couple Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla entered the show with great enthusiasm. During one of the segments, the couple was questioned by some news anchors about their relationship. When the couple was asked that there were rumors about a breakdown in their marriage, the couple did not hesitate to accept it. In addition, the special guests decided to select Abhinav and reject Rubina because her argument, being the latter, already had its share of popularity.
What we also liked about the premiere episode is limited conversation with the contestants and not stretching them unnecessarily. Salman Khan was in his cheeky self as usual.
Here’s a moment we didn’t like:
False audience: While many reality shows resorted to showing a format without an audience due to the pandemic. Bigg Boss 14 showed a fake audience: moments of celebrities clapping and cheering from various awards functions. Dipika Kakar, Diljit Dosanjh, Mouni Roy, Jacqueline Fernandes, Anil Kapoor and several more were shown and Salman Khan also took his name. It just seemed forced and unnecessary.
Also, most of the contestants were asked about their love life and made it seem more like a reality dating show.
