BHUBANESWAR: A big fire blew up at a nearby gas station Raj bhawan in Bhubaneswar after an explosion on Wednesday. Initial reports said that four people suffered severe burns.
Police and fire personnel were determining the cause of the fire. Four firefighters rushed to the scene to put out the fire.

“We are trying to find out the cause of the accident,” said Satyajit Mohanty, DGP (fire services).
The busy road connecting Raj Bhawan to Gopabandhu Square was partially sealed off by the police for some time.
The explosion at the gas station was so intense that nearby houses felt a terrible tremor.
Prima facie, a CNG tank in the fuel pump exploded, leading to fire.
The gas pump is located just 200 meters from Raj Bhawan. The police have fortified the periphery of Raj Bhawan.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced free medical treatment for injured people and wished their speedy recovery.
