Actor Arjun Kapoor has joined the team for the upcoming horror comedy film, Bhoot Police. One of the film’s producers, Tips Films and Music, reported via Twitter. To be directed by Pavan Kirpalani, the original cast of the film included Saif Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Sharing the news, Tips Films and Music Twitter user wrote, “#SaifAliKhan & @ arjunk26 join the cast of ‘Bhoot Police’! This spooky adventure comedy will be available later this year. @tipsofficial in association with # 12thStreetEntertainment presents #BhootPolice, produced by @RameshTaurani and @puriakshai, directed by #PavanKirpalani ”.

In an official statement, Pavan said, “Rameshji, Akshai Puri and I are excited to bring this hair-raising adventure comedy to celluloid for everyone to experience the excitement and laughter on the big screen. I am very excited for Saif and Arjun to team up for this entertaining performance. Both will be seen bringing their signature elements of fun to the new avatars they will play in this film. We are preparing to start filming later this year. “

A source had also told the Mumbai Mirror: “Arjun and Saif play a pair of ghostbusters in the movie. The creators have been working to get the right outfit on board for a while now. The film, produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri, will be released before the end of the year. “

The project was announced in April last year. Tweeting about it, business analyst Taran Adarsh had written: “Saif Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal … #BhootPolice, a 3D horror comedy franchise … Directed by Pavan Kirpalani … Featured and produced by Fox Star Studios … Filming begins August 2019. “It is unclear if Ali and Fatima are still in the film.
