The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), an affiliate of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), called for a nationwide protest on May 20 to pressure to reverse the decision to remove a group of labor laws in states like Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat .

We have decided to send letters to district authorities to highlight the problems faced by stranded migrant workers and to oppose increased working hours, ”said Upadhyay.
As state governments defended their vacation offer in labor law as a measure to attract investors and, in turn, increase employment opportunities, BMS said amending and eliminating labor laws during the Coronavirus pandemic will make workers more vulnerable to job loss and exploitation.
