Shoyeb Aftab has obtained the All India Rank (AIR) 1 ranking in the NEET 2020 result announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on its website ntaneet.nic.in. According to a Times Now report, Shoyeb Aftab scored 720 points out of a total of 720 points on the medical entrance exam.
Shoyeb, the 2020 NEET Leader, 18, set a record by earning 100 percent grades and is also the first Odisha State student to reach the first NEET.

The coaching institute also tweeted images of Shoyeb before the results statement, as the student had already calculated that he could get the maximum score, based on the answer key that was previously published in the public domain.

The 2020 Undergraduate Examination of the National Cum Income Eligibility Test (NEET) was conducted in two phases. More than 14.37 lakh aspiring doctors took the national entrance exam which was conducted following the COVID-19 health guidelines.
Up to 15.97 lakh of candidates registered for NEET UG 2020 of which 85-90 percent appeared in Phase 1 which took place on September 13.
The Phase 2 exam was held on October 14 after the Supreme Court of India gave its approval to take the exam to candidates who failed the medical entrance test due to COVID-19 or who were trapped in containment zones.
Up to 13,67,032 students appeared on the phase 1 exam, while 290 students took the entrance exam in phase 2.
Students who have scored the exam will now receive NEET 2020 counseling
Aspiring physicians who fall into the general category must achieve the 50th percentile or higher in NEET to score the exam, while the limit for PH students without reservation is set at the 45th percentile. Those who belong to the SC, ST, OBC category must ensure the 40th percentile.
Earlier today, NTA released the final NEET 2020 answer keys based on which the results have been declared.
NEET is held every year for admission to medical and related courses across the country. Based on qualifications, students are admitted to 80,005 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc and AH places in medical and dental schools.
The 2020 NEET score will be required for admission to 15 AIIMS and two JIPMER institutes.
