Bengal has set 3 dangerous trends in Indian politics: Amit Shah

West Bengal has set three trends in Indian politics: politicization of the administration, criminalization of politics and institutionalization of corruption, Union Interior Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday, claiming that the Trinamool Congress, which governs the state , it had become a family match.

“West Bengal has established three dangerous trends in Indian politics: politicization of administration, criminalization of politics, and institutionalization of corruption. All three of these trends are dangerous to democracy and the people of the state, ”Shah said as he urged people to join the BJP giant so that there could be change.

He was on a two-day visit to West Bengal to bolster the BJP campaign in Bengal, which is at the polls. Shah has set a goal of winning more than 200 of the 294 seats in the state assembly.

While the Trinamool Congress is desperately trying to highlight the development work done by the Mamata Banerjee administration over the past 10 years, Shah attacked successive Left Front and TMC governments on the grounds that West Bengal’s rank has been It has been slipping on various fronts, including by capita income, state share in GDP and industrial production, among others, during the last decades.

“West Bengal used to rank first on many fronts. But today his rank is below 20 on most fronts. Today the state is number one in corruption, nepotism, violence, bomb making and the explosion and murder of opposition workers, ”said Shah.

He said that not a single farmer has received central funding because the state did not send the list. The supreme of TMC has been supporting the farmers’ protest against the agricultural laws and Shah also attacked the ruling party of the state for that.

“At least 2.3 million farmers in Bengal have applied for Rs 6,000 a year from the Center online. You (Mamata Banerjee) just have to certify them but you’re not even doing it. Sign them assuming you are giving an autograph. Send a letter assuming it is your nephew’s birthday. It would help many farmers, ”he added.

He alleged that the main slogan of the TMC of Ma Mati Manush (Mother, soil and people) had given way to corruption, nepotism and appeasement.

“Those things happen when the head of the state, instead of thinking about the 100 million voters, thinks about her nephew and how to make him the next prime minister,” he added.

Shah said that Bengal accounted for 30% of India’s industrial production during Independence and today it is down 3.5%. Bengal’s per capita income was twice that of Maharashtra in the 1960s and today it is only half that of Maharashtra. In the 1950s, Bengal had accounted for 70% of India’s pharmaceutical production and today it is only around 7%.

“I am confident that TMC will challenge this data. Let me know the place and our youth wing leader will meet with you there for a discussion and will tell you the source of this data, “he added.
