Highlights from Prime Minister Modi’s speech at Bankura:
* You can hit me and my photo all you want, but I won’t let you hit the development in Bengal.
* This photo of Bankura testifies that the people of Bengal are determined – Do May, Didi gai.

* When I came here before the Lok Sabha elections, I remember how Didi had closed all the roads leading to the rally site. They had posted the police to prevent us from putting chairs on the demonstration grounds.
* Today that I have come to Bankura and I am going to speak especially to the sisters and brothers of Rampada saying, Ram Ram.
* Today Rampada is known throughout the world. If you call Rama in Rampada, Rama will come out of every house.
* The farmer here is forced to take only one harvest a year. Why are irrigation projects suspended? Here young people are concerned, where is the chakri, the industry, the investment, Didi? You’ve only done hollow ads in 10 years, where’s the job on the floor, Didi?

* The entire region is direct proof of what khela (game) Didi has and his government has played in West Bengal for 10 years.
* Many of our fellow tribesmen like the late Ajit Moormoo have become martyrs due to the Trinamool khela.
* If you want to get rid of corruption in government services, vote for the BJP. To prioritize development in Bengal, vote for BJP.
PM Modi in Assam
On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi at an election rally in Bokakhat said that Assam has made a decision, “dusri baar Modi sarkar.”

Training weapons in Congress, Prime Minister Modi said the party is only seeking power now as its treasures are running low, adding that Congress does not have the vision or ideology to take Assam to new heights.
“Congress is giving 5 guarantees to the people of Assam. Its only mantra is to tell lies and give false hope to the poor,” said the prime minister.
The prime minister said that during the congressional government in the state, peace was an issue, but that under the government of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) “peace and stability have been established in Assam.”
Addressing a demonstration in Chabua on Saturday, the prime minister also accused Congress of supporting those trying to tarnish the image of Assam tea.
Voting for the 126-member Assam assembly will take place on March 27, April 1 and April 6. The vote count will take place on May 2.
Highlights from Prime Minister Modi’s speech at Bokakhat:
* Today I can respectfully say to all of our mothers, sisters and daughters sitting here that we have worked hard to fulfill the responsibility and expectations with which you elected the BJP government.
* During the reign of Congress, the main issue was saving Assam’s spoils from Congress. Under the NDA, Assam is heading to hit new highs.

* In the Raj Congress, the question was how to increase connectivity between the two sides of the Brahmaputra? Modern bridges are being built on the Brahmaputra during NDA service, old incomplete bridges are being finished.
* The NDA government has put rhino hunters in jail. We work on both animal safety and facilities for the people of Assam.
* In the past five years, Assam has witnessed growth in forest cover. Increase opportunities for tourism and economic activities.
* Now that the NDA government is at the center and the NDA government is also in the state, the power of a twin engine is propelling Assam forward.

* Another important resource in Assam is oil and its related industries. Congress ignored the potential of this resource. In six years, more than Rs 40 billion has been invested in Assam in the oil and gas sector.
* The Assam government is also serious about raising the daily wages of workers working in the tea gardens.
* In the past five years, the BJP-NDA government has taken action for tea garden workers in education, livelihoods and medicine.
* Congress says it is secular but befriends sect-based parties in Assam, West Bengal and Kerala. They see nothing in the face of power.

* Today’s Congressional leaders only seek power. Their treasures are running low and so they are just trying to fill it up.
* Congress abuses the left in Kerala but embraces the left in West Bengal, waiting for a chair. Congress is in alliance with them in Jharkhand, Bihar, Maharashtra, but those parties will campaign against Congress in West Bengal.
