Akshay Kumar’s spy thriller ‘Bell Bottom’ has become the world’s first film to begin and end shooting during the pandemic. The 53-year-old actor called the success “teamwork” and said he is grateful to each and every member of the cast and crew.

“The new normal has made us realize a different way of working that none of us could have imagined. The film is in the company of a handful of international mega-budget films that returned to the floors during the pandemic such as Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible 7 and Jurassic Park: Dominion, managing to film in an unprecedented setting.
“We are immensely grateful to the entire unit for trusting us to keep them safe. We feel blessed to have had the right energy on the sets at all times, and it’s honestly why everything went so well,” said Jackky Bhagnani .
Producer Deepshikha said: “I am very grateful that we were able to complete the shoot. For the ship’s captain, director Ranjit M Tewari, ‘Bellbottom’ has been an experience that he would like to savor a little more.

Bellbottom, written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh, will be released on April 2, 2021.
