The creators of Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom have revealed a new frame from the upcoming film on the actor’s birthday. The sepia-toned image shows Akshay posing in front of an airplane.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the photo on social media Wednesday. NEW LOOK … Today on # AkshayKumar’s birthday, the #BellBottom team presents the new look of the spy thriller … Set in the 1980s, #Akshay plays the role of an #RAW agent in the film, which is currently being filmed in #Scotland … Directed by Ranjit M Tewari, ”he wrote in his tweet.

The photo was also shared by Akshay’s co-star in the film, Lara Dutta. “BIRTHDAY SPECIAL Birthday cake !!!! Introducing @ akshaykumar’s soft retro style from #Bellbottom, ”she wrote with the image.
The film also stars Huma Qureshi and Vaani Kapoor and is currently shooting in Scotland. Last week, footage from the UK filming of the film went viral on social media. Like many, six images from the shoot appeared online, showing Akshay sporting her retro look from the movie. Akshay sports a thick mustache in the film, which is based on the 1980s.

The spy thriller, directed by Ranjit M Tewari, will be released on April 2, 2021. The first poster for the film was released by Akshay Kumar in November last year. The film is an original script inspired by real events.
