Shaurya Chakra recipient Balwinder Singh, who had fought terrorism for years, was shot dead by two unidentified men in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab today. He and his family had been on the terrorist list for years.
Sources claim that the 62-year-old man was attacked inside his home and received five bullets. Balwinder Singh was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the sources added.
