In the video, Babita said in Hindi: “From the way the Uddhav Thackeray government demolished Kangana’s office, it is clear that they are nervous. Her disgusting mentality is being seen across the country. Do you think you can scare Kangana with this and silence her? If so, then they are wrong, because Kangana is not one to freak out. The whole country is at your side. I want to appeal to my compatriots not to allow our sister’s strength and courage to weaken, otherwise, in the future, no sister will have the courage to speak.
Babita also criticized a section of Bollywood for selective outrage. She added: “I don’t understand a thing. So many things happened in Mumbai, but why are the ‘candle band’ and the Bollywood awards wapsi band silent? Can’t you see what’s going on? Why are they so quiet? The whole country is witnessing the disgusting mentality of the Uddhav Thackeray government and they will soon give an adequate response.
It all started when Kangana compared Mumbai to Pakistani-occupied Kashmir and started a war of words with Shiv Sena’s deputy Sanjay Raut.
