Thanks to the collective effort of the internet, this restaurant is getting a lot of attention as people visit after a video about it went viral. After that, the restaurant gained widespread recognition, so much so that Zomato has now added them to its list of take-out restaurants. Located in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar, it is owned by Kanta Prasad, 80, and his wife, Badaami Devi.

On Twitter, the food aggregator and delivery service provider shared the happy news with people.

“UPDATE: baba ka dhaba is now listed on Zomato and our team is working with the elderly couple there to enable food delivery. Thanks to the good folks on the Internet for bringing this to our attention, ”they wrote.

However, this is not the only thing that happened after people found out about the plight of the elderly couple.

The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) also took to Instagram to share a video showing one of its representatives communicating with Kanta Prasad and his wife, Badaami Devi.

In the caption, they mentioned that the organization “is committed to updating their infrastructure and equipment to be COVID compliant so they can continue their legacy of serving others with a big smile.”

Paytm also joined in to show their appreciation. They shared, “Baba, keep going! Best wishes from India are with you. “

The dating app Tinder also shared a tweet from their official Twitter account urging others to choose the restaurant for their next date.

From movie stars to politicians, people from all walks of life came together to show their support for the couple. While some visited them, others helped by donating money.
