NEW DELHI: Eighty-year-old Kanta Prasad saw a large crowd crowd her store on Thursday, thanks to a video posted by a Samaritan on social media.
Prasad, who together with his wife runs a small food kiosk ‘Baba ka Dhaba‘in Delhi, Malviya Nagar has been struggling to make ends meet. During the shutdown due to Covid-19, Prasad lost his daily income when people stopped eating out.

However, things took a nice turn on Thursday when people flocked to his outlet after seeing his video on Twitter.
A video of an elderly man crying went viral on social media.

The video was shared by Gaurav Wasan, on his Instagram account @youtubeswadofficial. “80 year old couple selling the best kill paneer. Inhe hamari help ko bahut zarurat he,” Wasan wrote while posting the video.

The video begins with the 80-year-old man crying as he struggles to make a living. He also mentioned that he has been working at the food store since 1988.
The video soon became a trend with #BabakaDhaba On twitter.
