MumbaiPopular car designer Dilip Chhabria was arrested Monday by the Mumbai criminal branch in a cheating and forgery case. The owner of the ‘DC’ car modification studio, Chhabria, was booked under section 420 (cheating) and other relevant counterfeiting sections under the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The car linked to the case was also seized by the police and was parked at the Mumbai police headquarters. Police have not released any further information about the case.
According Noon, the man was arrested by API Sachin Vaze and his team. The crime report was filed on December 19.
Chhabria is the owner of the most famous car modification studio in the country.
