All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Tuesday expressed his gratitude after becoming the third Indian cricketer to participate in 50 or more games for the country in all three formats: Trials, ODI and T20I. Jadeja joined India’s captain Virat Kohli and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the elite club. The off-roader, which has played 50 tests, 168 ODI and 50 T20I, thanked the Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) and support staff for always supporting it. “It is a great honor to join Mahi bhai and Virat as the only others to have played 50 games in all 3 formats for India. A big thank you to the BCCI, my teammates, the brilliant support staff for showing faith in me and for always supporting me. Forward and upward. Jai Hind, “Jadeja tweeted.

Former skipper Dhoni, who made his debut in 2004, participated in 90 tests, 350 ODI and 98 T20I for India. On the other hand, Kohli has played 87 tests, 251 ODI and 85 T20I for India.
Jadeja reached his fifteenth in the longest format of the game on Monday in Test 2 against Australia. The half century of the off-roader and the twelfth century of Captain Ajinkya Rahane had given India control of the game.
Riding in an exemplary bowling display on day three, India first eliminated Australia by 200 on the fourth morning and then came back to chase the target of 70 in just 15.5 overs.
Promoted
If a session had cost India the first test, it was again a session, which Rahane and Jadeja endured on the second day of the second test, in which India took the second game.
The victory also ensured that India got one step closer to the World Testing Championship final.
